A moving blog

IT’S BEEN almost five years since I started this blog – but in the last five months I have been unusually quiet.

It has been an exceptionally busy time with the unprecedented growth of my voluntary work with the Open Table ecumenical Christian community, alongside other commitments.

Not only that, but the company which was hosting the website became increasingly unreliable and the site kept going offline without notice, for up to a week at a time. It took a while to find a solution, which involved moving to a new webhost.

Moving a website can be a bit like moving house – it takes a little while to get everything just where you want it, to get all the pictures put up, and everything stored neatly so it’s easy to find.

I have spent most of my spare time this last week doing a spring clean of five years’ worth of articles, links, photos, videos and audio files to get my blog back in action. It’s been interesting to look back over that time – perhaps I will share my reflection on that later this month. In the meantime, I have some catching up to do!

So here it is – I hope you like it. I have also updated the pages About me and My inspiration. Normal service will resume shortly.

If you want to keep up to date, you might want to ‘Like’ my new Facebook page.
